Allana Ferguson bio

Allana played for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana on the sidelines for some time before she made the transition back to league. Allana participated in her first female match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio host, and is regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three sports - rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos athlete who played rugby league for many years, has had to end her career early because she injured her ACL four times. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears to the same ligament in her teens, 17 and 20, and a 4th tear meant her time was done. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS' playmaker, was forced to resign earlier due to a 4th left ACL injury. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS' player announced that news via The Courier Mail this week following an injury sustained during training in November.
